Piano and Grand Piano Moving
Moving a piano is a trade of its own. We pack the instrument professionally, take it apart where it needs it, and transport it safely, fully insured.
How does our service work?

#1 Assessment
You contact us or send photos, and we come back with an exact price

#2 Packing
Before the instrument is moved at all, we use purpose-made protective blankets and packing materials. At the same time, we protect the building’s walls and floors.

#3 Moving
The instrument is strapped down in the truck with proper securing straps, and reaches the new address with no risk of damage.
The right equipment
The standard approach does not work for heavy musical instruments. Our crew carries moving platforms, straps and the mechanisms the job needs
A 100% insured process
Given what an instrument is worth, the financial guarantee matters. In transit the piano is fully insured, and we take responsibility for every detail, from the packing to the placement at the new address.

Grand piano disassembly
Moving a grand piano means carefully removing the legs and the action. The crew is trained for it, so that — as with safe and heavy item moving — a grand piano travels safely too.
A price with no surprises
With NextMove the price is fixed in advance and does not change on the day.
Frequently asked questions
After any move, however perfect, an instrument needs tuning — the climate changes and it has been in motion. What our professional packing service does rule out is any physical damage to the action.
Our crew is trained to bring an instrument down by hand from any floor. The rate is then worked out by the number of floors and written into the quote in advance, so there are no misunderstandings on the day.
Yes. If the new place is not ready yet, you can leave the instrument in our warehouse, where it is protected from damp and from swings in temperature.

A piano weighs up to 300 kilos, and its action is made of thousands of parts. One wrong move and something gets damaged — the instrument, the staircase, or someone’s back. That is why moving a piano is a trade of its own — and it is our trade.

- A crew with real experience of moving pianos — not “two strong lads”
- Narrow stairs and tight turns assessed in advance, from photos
